<\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text el_class=”subhead-news”]The MART includes among its collections Trama, the environment by Pietro Consagra, displayed in the Venice Biennale 1972. The work is presented for the first time according to the plastic and spatial values \u200b\u200bthat characterize the artist’s research, committed since the 1950s to a radical review of the concept of sculpture. Consagra conceives a work that, to be entirely viewed, must be crossed. The installation consists of seven colored wood sculptures, placed on a platform not far from each other and close to the walls of a closed environment. Walking through this labyrinthine space, the visitor encounters a second work, Un millimetro, a small steel booklet placed on a pedestal \u0336 originally designed by Carlo Scarpa, here displayed in a simplified version \u0336 that takes its name from its thickness. The installation is completed by some sculptures from the series Sottilissime, with which Consagra continues its investigation into the relationship between surface and environment, pushing the material to the limit of its physicality.<\/p>\n
