The Chartreuse de La Lance presents “Peter Wüthrich: The Angels of the World”. The photographic exhibition is part of a traveling project that the artist has undertaken for several years and which, started in 2001 in Los Angeles, has already involved numerous cities such as London, Paris, Santiago de Compostela, Tokyo, Nagoya, Mexico City, Venice, Milan. The protagonists of the portraits, exhibited in an original installation designed by the artist, are some passers-by met on the street, to whom the artist asked to wear an open book on their shoulders. The photographed people become messengers, guides, winged protectors, revealing different and peculiar aspects of each place, of every ethnicity and age.
