Galleria Fumagalli announces the participation of artist Luca Boffi (Milan, Italy, 1991) in the fourth edition of Forever Is Now, the exclusive art exhibition on the Giza plateau in Egypt that brings together works by contemporary artists from all over the world in dialogue with the monumental Pyramids of Giza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Curated by the contemporary art platform CulturVator – Art D’Égypte, the exhibition invites the twelve participating artists to interplay with one of the most iconic monuments in the world, creating a meeting point between history and present, between tradition and innovation. Diverse in concept, form and materials, all of the artworks share an interactive component, inviting visitors to actively engage with them, offering new ways to experience the iconic monuments as an integral part of the artistic experience.

Luca Boffi presents the installation Monochrome RGB specifically conceived and created for the occasion. «My artistic practice – explains the artist – develops from the scientific study of the grid as an optical device through which to measure, order and reinvent the environment. It finds form in the construction in nature, with installations and performances born from the sensitive listening to the place of action, from the desire to be a place and to participate in the space in an architectural and poetic sense. Monochrome RGB represents the encounter between the grid and the desert landscape of Giza. The three frames are glimpsed on the horizon and reveal that the work is sublimating the relationship between the squares and the Pyramids.»
