110 years after its birth, Casa degli Artisti reopens in Milan: a place dedicated to the best energies of our time. It will be a centre of residency and production of contemporary art open to everybody, fostering the dialogue between generations, disciplines, nationalities. The working group that won the call for tender for the use of the building consists of five associations: ZONA K, That’s Contemporary, Atelier Spazio XPO’, Impresa sociale Centro Itard Lombardia e NIC Nuove Imprese Culturali, of which Mattia Bosco, a Milan-based artist represented by Galleria Fumagalli, is part. More than 1000 square meters, including indoor and outdoor spaces, will host a large exhibition area, ateliers for artists in residence, a book and design shop and a restaurant hall. Galleria Fumagalli is pleased to share the participations of Peter Welz (1972, Lauingen DE) among the invited artists in residence, and Lorand Hegyi, art historian, critic and curator, as a member of the Scientific Committee.
