The new exhibition presented at Galleria Fumagalli “Opere 2004/4006” is dedicated to Gianfranco Pardi’s work. Doppio Uno is the title of the first series of paintings that deals with a theme that has always been investigated by the artist: the relationship between the color surfaces and the canvas perimeter. The slipping and overlapping of plans indicate the ambiguity of the interaction between surface and form.

Topos is the title of the last works. Round-shape paintings on canvas on which a deformed sign of the circumference is superimposed. All the works indicate the interest in issues related to topology which are faced in different registers and constitute a single corpus of Pardi’s recent work.
