Galleria Fumagalli presents a new solo by Jannis Kounellis. Curated by Annamaria Maggi, the exhibition features a series of new site-specific works for Galleria Fumagalli. At the same time, the city of Bergamo hosts another exhibition by Kounellis, in the evocative location of the Ex-Oratorio di San Lupo.

For the Museo Diocesano Adriano Bernareggi, the artist created a special installation which anticipates the lines of the path and the reflections conducted over the years. For that reason the artist has been identified as a possible guest in the first Vatican City Pavilion at Venice Biennale in 2011.

This new exhibition consolidates the collaboration between Galleria Fumagalli and the artist, started in 2003, when some large works that the master had created especially for the occasion were shown at the gallery during the exhibition “Jannis Kounellis. Opere recenti”.
