Text
More than ten years after his last solo show in Italy, Galleria Fumagalli exhibits 12 large-scale works from the 1970s by one of the masters of abstraction, Kenneth Noland.
The exhibition focuses on the creative period of the 1970s, exemplified by 12 major works from the Irregular Shape and Shaped Canvases series, exhibited on the two gallery floors.
The paintings highlight the pictorial characteristics of the American artist such as the use of color, according to an intuitive and self-referential process that underlines its shape, movement and energy.
