Within the Salle Noir, in the Musée Ingres Bourdelle’s basement, the artists intervened to offer the public two new site-specific installations, through which the duo reinvents the museum’s spaces with a new look at the vestiges of a bygone era that still characterizes the ancient halls of the museum.
Anne & Patrick’s research on the fragility and transience of civilizations, nature and collective memory therefore interplays with the context in which it is presented.
