CHIARA LECCA
BACK TO SANTA SOFIA. 60' EDIZIONE PREMIO CAMPIGNA
Nine artists – who have been part of events linked to the “Premio Campigna” since 2003 – present a selection of recent works showing different facets of contemporary art language. Chiara Lecca exhibits Masks and Fake Marbles. These sculptures, as stated by the title, seems to be made of marble but their veins actually come from animal bladders covering a glass surface. The true nature of this fake marbles creates a sense of disorientation in the viewer who recognizes the quality of a material which is instead unexpected.
