After the first comprehensive exhibition by Keith Sonnier held in 1994, the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen hosts the solo show “Catching the Light: Sending and Receiving – Early Sculptures and Videos” which focuses on films and video works from 1968 to 1977. In addition to the pioneering activity of video exploration, Keith Sonnier describes processes of sound and light perception, through transparent materials and above all the use of neon and fluorescent light.
