On the occasion of the awarding of the 2016 “Premio Presidente della Repubblica per la Scultura” to Giovanni Anselmo, the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca dedicates to the artist the retrospective Entrare nell’opera that celebrates a career that has spanned over fifty years. The Accademia invited the artist to design an exhibition itinerary specifically conceived for Palazzo Carpegna spaces: 27 selected works, mostly large sized and ranging from the late 1960s to the present, show the artist’s attention towards the inherent particularity and energy of things.
