FUORI PERCORSO. SCULPTURES FROM THE MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO'S COLLECTIONS
On the occasion of the first event of Fuori Percorso, the scientific committee of the Museo del Novecento has selected over thirty sculptures from its collections which illustrate almost a century of Italian art history. The sculpture gallery was a typical place for exhibitions in the nineteenth-century, when Italian sculpture was universally admired. In the show this tradition is reconsidered by updating the exhibition layout, to present high-quality works that have never been installed in the museum path, including works by Giò Pomodoro and Aldo Bergonzoni, Luciano Minguzzi, Giacomo Manzù, Marino Marini, Umbarto Milani, Angelo Bozzola, Alberto Viani, Roberto Crippa, Agenore Fabbri, Alik Cavaliere, Nanni Valentini, Kengiro Azuma, Pietro Coletta and Sol Lewitt.
