The inaugural exhibition of Magazzino Italian Art, which houses the private collection of the spouses Olnick and Spanu, is a tribute to Margherita Stein, the founder of the historical Galleria Christian Stein and one of the pioneers of the Arte Povera movement. Margherita Stein: Rebel With a Cause offers a selection of over four decades of artists she promoted, including Giovanni Anselmo, Alighiero Boetti, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Luciano Fabro, Jannis Kounellis, Mario Merz, Marisa Merz, Giulio Paolini, Pino Pascali, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Gilberto Zorio, Marco Bagnoli, Domenico Bianchi and Remo Salvadori.
