Chiara Lecca partecipa alla mostra collettiva Scultura centrale, situata presso l’Ex Centrale del Latte a Vicenza.
La mostra, curata da Alberto Zanchetta e Paolo Dosa, ha come obiettivo la trasformazione di un ex sito industriale in un polo culturale dinamico, promuovendo l’arte contemporanea e rafforzando il legame tra la comunità e il patrimonio artistico. Le sculture sono disposte in modo da interagire con gli spazi architettonici dell’edificio, creando un dialogo tra arte e architettura.
Alla collettiva Scultura centrale sono esposte la serie Misses (Carlotta, Fiorenza, Roberta, Patrizia, Irene) realizzate nel 2010, e Glazed Sharp Pulp (2018). In entrambe le opere d’arte, Chiara Lecca unisce elementi organici e inorganici, creando un effetto dissociante. Sia in Misses sia in Glazed Sharp Pulp, i ganci di macelleria sono strutturali per le opere d’arte in quanto sorreggono da una parte capelli umani, dall’altra terracotta e pelli.
L’organizzazione è affidata all’Associazione ACT in collaborazione con il Comune di Vicenza e vede il sostegno di Fondazione Roi.
