La residenza d’artista “I.D.E.A. Salento”, ideata da Nicoletta Rusconi e in collaborazione con Patrizio e Marina Ziggiotti, apre all’ex essiccatoio di Gagliano del Capo (Lecce). Il primo artista in residenza è Ighshaan Adams che ha recentemente terminato la sua esperienza a Cascina Maria di Agrate Conturbia. Nella nuova sede di I.D.E.A. sono stati commissionati interventi site specific come le opere di Mattia Bosco e Letizia Cariello. Mentre Mattia Bosco ha esplorato le possibilità della pietra leccese, simile al tufo, creando sculture che ha trasformato in maschere, Letizia Cariello ha interagito con l’aranceto attraverso un’installazione ambientale. Ha avvolto gli alberi con metri di filo rosso, secondo un processo di ricostruzione di legami e connessioni che l’artista ha sviluppato nella sua ricerca artistica.
