The current installation “Picnic” at Sammlung Hoffmann in Berlin also includes Peter Welz’s work, on view through June 2020. The German visual artist exhibits his first “portrait”, which is the re-translation of Francis Bacon’s unfinished portrait by William Forsythe. The collaboration with the American choreographer brought out a “study of a movement”, a multimedia choreographic work where sculpture, painting, video and dance fuse together.
This work was firstly exhibited at Galleria Fumagalli, Bergamo where the artist held his first solo show in 2009.
