Biography
Luigi Pensa, born in Turin in 2001, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Milan. Graduated in Product Design at the Central Saint Martins in 2022, his research spans conceptual art, product and furniture design, sculpture, fashion, and industrial design.
Luigi Pensa captures the expression of a generation that lives between the lines of the digital/virtual and physical world, where access to a vast corpus of knowledge and images is the norm. He blends art and design, ancient and modern, drawing inspiration from knowledge of classical art history, popular culture, and social behavioral trends.
His work combines traditional and contemporary techniques, ranging from silkscreen on fabric and objects, to 3D and digital printing on unusual materials such as stone and glass, to installations, and ceramic sculptures, actively collaborating with artisans and designers to realize new creative outcomes.
