This year Galleria Fumagalli is celebrating Annamaria Maggi’s 30-year directorship at the gallery launching the program of exhibitions and digital initiatives MY30YEARS. 1991 – 2021. Taking a look at the activities carried out so far, Galleria Fumagalli presents the significant editorial production of the latest three decades, opening the exhibition AA.VV. 90 catalogs, monographs, editions.
90 is the number of publications curated or edited by the Gallery: monographs including essays by renowned critics; catalogs of solo and group shows often edited in collaboration with important international institutions; catalogues raisonnés resulting from the meticulous filing of the artists’ works; anastatic reprints of historical editions of art from the second half of 20th century.
The exhibition introduces the project MY30YEARS. 1991 – 2021 aimed at celebrating Annamaria Maggi’s 30 years as director of the gallery and underlining the consistency of her aesthetic and curatorial choices, through a series of exhibitions – curated by art historian Lóránd Hegyi – which will combine different generations of artists who determined the artistic vision of Galleria Fumagalli.
