GILBERTO ZORIO
GILBERTO ZORIO
For the first time a public museum in Turin, the Castello di Rivoli dedicates a major retrospective to Gilberto Zorio (Andorno Micca, 1944). Curated by Marcella Beccaria and developed in dialogue with Gilberto Zorio, the exhibition includes new installations and historical works. The project collects some of the most important works made by Zorio from his beginnings, including historical installations jealously guarded by the artist in his private collection. These rare works will be presented to the public with works from selected collections and from the Castello di Rivoli’s collection. New installations specially designed and created by Zorio for the spaces on the third floor of the Castle will also be exhibited for the first time. The different conditions of light and dark conceived by the artist will ideally duplicate the exhibition in two new perceptive scenarios.
