Chaumont-sur-Loire celebrates its “10 years of art” with a series of installations in which the artists are naturally invited to dialogue with the estate. More than 15 commissions and exhibitions highlight this particular year for the Center for Art and Nature in Chaumont-sur-Loire, including the solo “Herbarium Memoriae” by Anne and Patrick Poirier, who have always been inspired by plants and the way of recording time. Their archaeological experiments and their techniques, playing with the dark room and putting together a jumble of objects collected in their peregrinations, combine to form almost-pictorial works where petals, pistils and other botanical parts are juxtaposed one on the other.
