MATTIA BOSCO

IL TEMPO È UN BAMBINO CHE GIOCA

Mattia Bosco intervenes within the spaces of Palazzo Borromeo starting from the inevitable suggestion of the place: La stanza dei Giochi, which shows the frescoes created around the middle of the 15th century by the Maestro dei Giochi Borromeo; its twin room of La Raccolta della Frutta, almost-completely destroyed by bombing in 1943; and the courtyard of the building. In the room of La Raccolta della Frutta, Mattia Bosco reinterprets «the timeless show on which walls open like a curtain» – he writes -, transforming and translating the entire floor into his sculptural language. The exhibition is completed by some sculptural “figures”.

The project stems from the collaboration between LCA Studio Legale, Antonini Milano, AXA ART, Apice and Galleria Fumagalli.
