On 15 October 2022 Maria Elisabetta Novello opened her solo show “Si può provocare un incendio” at the Ex Deposito Carburanti, Monopoli, in Puglia (IT). The exhibition, curated by Martina Cavallarin, has been promoted by MANIBUS Festival and it will be on view until 11 December 2022.
During the opening, the artist presented the performance “Non puoi spegnere un incendio” (You cannot extinguish a fire), in which she enlightened the great room that features her works with the light of 5’000 candles, all of them assembled in the form of letters in order to write the very same title of the action.
