Centre Pompidou celebrates its 40th anniversary with PERFORMANCE! Les collections du Centre Pompidou, 1967 – 2017 at Le Tripostal in Lille. The project stages a unique story, playing on the fleeting moment and the possibility of repeating it through images or re-enactments. It stems from all the artistic fields that converge in the performance: dance and choreography, music and artistic sound practices, movement language implemented by all the possibilities of the body and immersive installations, with the idea of focusing on the viewer’s experience. Works by Vito Acconci, Dennis Oppenheim, Peter Welz are also on show.
