GIOVANNI ANSELMO

SENZA TITOLO, INVISIBILE, DOVE LE STELLE SI AVVICINANO DI UNA SPANNA IN PIÙ, MENTRE OLTREMARE APPARE VERSO SUD-EST, LA LUCE FOCALIZZA...

Fondazione Querini Stampalia and Krizia announce the solo exhibition of Giovanni Anselmo “Senza titolo, invisibile, dove le stelle si avvicinano di una spanna in più, mentre oltremare appare verso Sud-Est, e la luce focalizza…” on the occasion of the 57th Venice Biennale. As often happens in the work of Giovanni Anselmo, the long title is like a formula, almost a small story that describes the installations that can be considered as landscapes to be observed “facing the window of our imagination”. His work is a paradigm which is recomposed and directed in a different way every time it meets a space and a new dimension: in this case, the space conceived by Carlo Scarpa for the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice.
