I lavori in mostra, selezionati dalle curatrici Angela Madesani e Annamaria Maggi, sono testimonianza di azioni performative degli anni ’60 e ’70, come nel caso di Marina Abramovic, Vito Acconci, Bruce Nauman, Dennis Oppenheim e Gina Pane. Vengono anche proposte opere di grandi fotografi e artisti che hanno posto il corpo al centro delle loro ricerche come nelle fotografie dell’iraniana Shirin Neshat e nei “portrait” del tedesco Peter Welz.
La mostra è accompagnata da un catalogo edito da Scalpendi.
