La mostra Selva Molle presenta le opere di Chiara Lecca e di Nicola Samorì allestite nella suggestiva chiesa seicentesca, ora sconsacrata, dedicata a San Rocco e situata nel centro storico di Modigliana. Fil rouge della mostra è la forma della materia come mezzo di narrazione tra il naturale e trascendentale.
Il lavoro artistico di Chiara Lecca è principalmente installativo e scultoreo con incursioni nella fotografia e nella video arte. Cresce a stretto contatto con la natura e con il mondo animale nei terreni dell’azienda agricola di famiglia, conservando preziosi ricordi che contrassegnano in larga parte il suo lavoro artistico. Focalizza la sua ricerca sulla relazione tra uomo e natura per farne emergere la frattura operata dalla società contemporanea. L’elemento animale, in particolare, diventa materia per un processo di alterazione semiotica.
